The problem Dock Pilot solves
Waterfront operations are unusually hard to software. A single business may rent boats by the hour, sell club memberships by the season, lease wet slips by the year, store hulls in a dry stack, dispatch a delivery crew, and sell fuel and merchandise at the counter. 01Does Dock Pilot handle both boat rentals and marina slips?
Yes, and that is the point of it. Hourly and daily rentals, seasonal club memberships, wet slip contracts, and dry stack storage all live in the same system and share one customer record and one ledger, so you are not reconciling separate tools against each other.
02Can the dock crew use it on the water?
Yes. The dock side runs on live boards built for phones and tablets rather than paper printouts, covering check-in, gear checkout, delivery dispatch, and inspection capture. Charges added at the dock attach to the correct booking automatically.
03Does it replace our point of sale?
It can. Fuel, merchandise, and add-on charges are part of the same ledger as reservations, which removes the nightly reconciliation between a rental system and a separate register.
